Relaxing grass area with statues high biodiversity, various fungi on the mature trees.

A quieter area can be found near Kimmeridge house. The biodome is a small round greenhouse that is sometimes used for student projects.

The small lawns in front of SUBU are heavily used by students, staff and dancing gulls.

The heritage garden is overflowing with life and a Medieval Garden with small ponds.

This ancient pine was here before the university was built. It provides welcome shade during hot days.

SUBU volunteers run the community garden. Most of the time the garden is hidden behind the wooden fence but at least once a week, volunteers grow vegetables in support of BU's community kitchen. Why not volunteer (information about how to volunteer can be found on the gate, or ask SUBU).

Behind the library and towards student village there is an area with surprisingly high biodiversity. There are many planted trees and plants, but also keep an eye out for small fungi and various native plants. You will also regularly see magpies on the grass towards the nursery.

The carpark is surrounded by trees and hedges and many birds and sometimes even deer can be seen and heard here.
